of Mother's Sharing (M.O.M.S.)
WHAT IS Ministry of Mothers Sharing??
The purpose of MOMS is to affirm
our vocation as Catholic mothers. Through prayer, presentations and
sharing of experiences, we strive to help each other come to a deeper
sense of how God is active and present in our lives.
Who comes to MOMS?
MOMS is for all women of the parish of any age. It is for women who
devote their time to the spiritual and physical upbringing of their
children. It is for women who live with many demands on their time
and energy.
How was MOMS started?
MOMS was developed by the Sisters of St. Benedict of St. Paul's Monastery
in St. Paul, Minnesota. Click

How much time?
MOMS is a set eight week curriculm with handbooks and is led by
facilitators. The group meets 1 time a week for about 2 hours at a
time. Childcare is available.
What topics are
included?
Self -esteem and self-acceptance, stress,
everyday spirituality, feelings, personal growth, friendship, and
continuing the journey.
How much does it
cost?
The cost is $25 and includes a copy of the book MOMS-A Personal Journal
by Sister Paula Hagen and Vickie Jennett. (Scholarships available).

MOMS, what can I do now?
Many women who participate in MOMS experience a sense of belonging and
community and choose to continue to meet informally, volunteer in MOMS
leadership roles, participate in other parish ministries or community
services after the conclusion of the formal eight week program. If
